Solacium Holdings LLC, headquartered in Utah, is a provider of education, recovery, and treatment programs to emotionally or behaviorally challenged youth. The company currently has three residential treatment facilities in Utah operating under the names New Haven and Sunrise, a wilderness program in West Virginia operating under the name Alldredge Academy, and two treatment facilities in Texas under the name Fulshear Ranch Academy.
In February 2006, CIC Partners teamed with the co-founder and Val Christensen, a successful operator in the healthcare industry, to provide expansion capital and strategic support. CIC made follow-on investments in September 2006 and May 2007 to fund the company's acquisitions of Alldredge Academy, Fulshear Ranch Academy and Transitions of Galveston. CIC General Partner Drew Johnson serves as Chairman and Jim Smith, a CIC Advisory Partner, serves on the company's board of directors.
