Triumph Pacific

Triumph Pacific Oil and Gas Company ("Triumph Pacific") is a newly capitalized oil and gas company engaged in the acquisition, development and production of natural gas reserves from conventional and unconventional reservoirs in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. Triumph Pacific, based in Vancouver, British Columbia, currently holds drilling rights to approximately 44,000 largely unexplored gross acres in Northeastern British Columbia. Triumph Pacific's strategy is to use the experience of its principals and partners in tight sand gas drilling and stimulation techniques, many of which were developed and successfully exploited in the Barnett Shale play of North Texas.

CIC Partners formed Triumph Pacific in June 2006 in partnership with Kyle Burnett, Triumph's CEO, and Ben Jones, Vice President of Exploration. Mr. Burnett has a strong track record in the energy industry having served as CEO of a prior CIC portfolio company, Arcadia Exploration and Production Company. Arcadia generated strong investment returns as an acquirer and operator of energy assets, primarily located in the Southwest. Mr. Jones has a successful track record finding energy reserves. Most recently, he generated the Peace River Coal Bed Methane Prospect, under which Triumph has secured the deep drilling rights for conventional reserves.
